What’s Included in the Program?

Speed and Agility

Sharpen the movements that matter most in netball. These sessions focus on explosive first steps, quick cuts, and fast directional changes so you can lose your defender, drive into space, and contest every ball with confidence. Improve your footwork, reactions, and ability to stay balanced under pressure — essential for both attackers and defenders.

Strength and Power

Build the strength required for strong holds, solid landings, and powerful take-offs. Targeted gym work develops the explosiveness you need for jumping, intercepting, and battling for position in the circle. Stronger, more powerful athletes move faster, protect themselves better, and win more contests across the court.

Conditioning

Netball is intense, fast, and relentless. These conditioning sessions build your ability to repeat high-speed efforts, maintain intensity throughout all four quarters, and keep your movement sharp even when fatigued. Develop the endurance and match fitness needed to stay ahead of your opponent from the first centre pass to the final whistle.

Recovery

With the demands of netball — constant jumping, landing, and rapid direction changes — recovery is essential. These strategies help your body adapt, reduce injury risk, and stay game-ready. Proper recovery means you can train harder, stay consistent, and perform at your peak each week.

“I wasn’t improving and was getting benched. I didn’t have a plan and purely did what I fancied.

My netball team is now in division 1. My performance has improved and it was noticeably better after just a few months of training with the FAST program”

— Lauren, age 25
